Gearbox Teases Sixth Vault Hunter for Borderlands 2

As part of the festivities at SXSW, Gearbox Software ran a video teasing an upcoming additional character choice for Borderlands 2.

“Deep beneath Pandora, an experiment has escaped,” the video reads. “Bandits beware—a new vault hunter is coming. More mayhem awaits.”

Few other details were revealed about this new character, but Gearbox franchise director Matt Armstrong noted that “I don’t think you’ll have to wait long until you see that character.” Also, website Joystiq confirmed that this new character will not be included as part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass—so, for pass owners, you’ll have to pay for this new addition just like the rest of us non-Pass-owning peons.
