Following the lead of companies like BioWare, Valve, and Bungie, Epic Games now has their own store—the Epic Store.

Merchandise includes apparel, drinkware, and artwork for fans of Gears of War, Infinity Blade, Bulletstorm, Fortnite, and Jazz Jackrabbit. And disregarding how thoroughly hyperbolic the word “epic” has become in the gaming community, you can brand yourself as an “Epic Gamer.”

Get it? It’s a double entendre. Because, because … you know. you’re an epic gamer who plays Epic games, and Epic games are so epic they make you an epic gamer.

I officially hate that word now. Henceforth striking it from my game reporting vernacular.
