THE BUZZ: Microsoft and Epic Games are planning a massive midnight launch event for Gears of War 3 at the Best Buy theater in Times Square, and one fan has already taken his place at the front of the line.

David “Ultimizer” Tyson set himself up outside the store on September 12th, with a camping chair, laptop and headphones, and has been there since. David is keeping fans up to date via his Twitter account, saying that he has a plan to get him through until September 19th at midnight. He claims that the Best Buy employees don’t mind him being there, however one member of staff did ask him to leave, shortly after he arrived, he refused replying, “I am the Ultimizer.”

EGM’s TAKE: This man may be the most dedicated Gears of War fan on the planet. We expect him to be showered with various swag when Microsoft and Epic arrive on the scene.
