Gears Of War 3 – One Week, Three Million Sold

THE BUZZ: Microsoft has announced that Gears of War 3 sold more than 3 million copies during its first week of sales, with the publisher naming it “the biggest game of 2011.”
Gears of War 3 is now officially the first Xbox 360 exclusive franchise to pass the $1 Billion sales mark. The game has also managed to pick up more than 50 perfect review scores making it the biggest Xbox 360 exclusive of the year.
EGM’s TAKE: Gears of War deserves all of the praise it receives, we love it.
