Gears of War

Gears of War 4 will be receiving a massive update December 6th, delivering new maps, features, and more!

Xbox revealed the contents of the upcoming Gears of War 4 update in a recent blog post, most importantly announcing two new maps: Speyer and Glory.

Speyer is a sniper’s paradise with multiple areas perfect for picking off your opponents at long range. Glory, on the other hand, not only has lots of areas to fight up-close-and-personal, but also has a mounted turret for mowing down foes. Those with a Gears of War 4 Season Pass not only get to access the maps right away, but will also earn extra XP and Credits when they play the accompanying Developer Playlist. Bonus!

In addition to maps, Gears has received some basic updates overall, bringing the much-requested Vertical Split-Screen option was added for Windows 10 players. Daily Rewards have also been added, delivering even more reasons to keep fighting against the Swarm.
