It appears that Square Enix is planning to make Final Fantasy III the next game in the franchise that it brings to PC, according to a listing on Germany’s USK ratings board’s website.
Final Fantasy III first released for the Famicom in Japan in 1990, and eventually saw a fully localized released in the west with a Nintendo DS remake in 2006. The game has since been ported to iOS, Android, PSP, and Ouya.
The listing doesn’t include any details about the title. Previously, Square Enix has released PC versions of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII.
