Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 might have blown its launch trailer way too early, but there are two new trailers we can use to celebrate the game’s release.
The first trailer is for Black Ops 4‘s Blackout battle royale mode. While fans have already played and seen much on this mode since it was announced, it’s good to get one last boost of adrenaline before jumping back in with the full game.
Next up is a trailer for Black Ops 4‘s Blood of the Dead map, which fans have yet to see much of. Blood of the Dead is distinct because it is a remake of Black Ops II‘s Mob of the Dead map, set on the island of Alcatraz, with new areas that weren’t accessible the first time around. The new experience follows the Primus crew, which are the younger versions of the classic group. The full trailer can be seen below, but be warned, things get pretty emotional (*sniff, sniff*).
Treyarch has announced that Blood of the Dead’s Easter egg, along with the Easter eggs for the IX and Voyage of Despair maps, will not be activated until tomorrow morning. This way, all players can start hunting each maps’ secrets on equal footing.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches October 12th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
