Star Wars Battlefront

EA opened its E3 2014 press conference by offering a glimpse at DICE’s upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront.

There was no actual gameplay shown sadly, but the video above does feature in-engine footage of Hoth and the moon of Endor, along with walkers and ships in action.

“Fight in epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets and rise through the ranks playing as the heroic Rebellion or the evil galactic Empire,” a description reads.

EA didn’t share a release date for the title, but a message at the of the trailer promises more details in spring 2015.
