Bandai Namco has released a new update for God Eater 3 that introduces new story missions, NPCs, Aragami, and more.

Following the update, players will gain access to a new Assault mission and the “Another Devil” episode, which is set after the events of the game.

“The Hounds are working on Adaptive Armor and if this tech becomes viable, the Ash Crawlers can start to make long distance treks, this would be a dream come true for you and your allies,” the episode’s description reads. “Ein also introduces you to a new partner, Neal, Zeke’s long-lost younger brother.”

As mentioned above, players will be introduced to new allies in this update: Keith, who focuses on melee attacks and support skills, and Neal, who prefers to fight alone and is good at scouting for enemies.

Update 1.30 also includes two new Aragamis, new Burst Arts for each God Arc, and new costumes and accessories. Read the full patch notes here.

God Eater 3 is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release scheduled for July.
