THE BUZZ: God of War 4 has once again appeared on a CV. Is it finally time for Sony to put us out of our misery?

The CV of David Thornfield, mo-cap animator, has listed God of War 4 under his current projects on his LinkedIn profile. This has since been changed to “Unannounced Game Title.” According to his CV the job involved, “creating high Quality animations using Motion Builder editing motion capture data for both in-game and cinematic animation.”

Thornfield also listed Medal of Honor and WWE13 under current projects and has also changed both of these to, “Unannounced Game Title.”

EGM’s TAKE: Surely the jig is up now that we all know that the game is in development. It’s probably the worst kept secret in gaming at the moment. However, Sony and the Santa Monica Studio still decline to comment on the game’s existence. Obviously they have a massive reveal planned for E3 are are going to use God of War 4 as one of the main titles at the show. No one wants to lose a massive reveal like that by jumping the gun. We know that Medal of Honor is set for a reveal next month and that WWE13 will come around in the Fall like it does every year. It’s time to throw your hands up and admit defeat Sony, you’ve been outed.

What would you like to see in the next God of War game? Let us know in the comments below.
