In an unexpected move, Sony has announced that the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta has been unlocked for all PlayStation 3 users in the U.S.–for a limited time only.

The beta will remain open to all until Midnight tonight Pacific Time (January 22, 12:00am PST), leaving you some time to get involved if you wish to.
