Sony has just released the list of most-downloaded PlayStation Store games for the month of April, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that God of War is at the top.
While Sony didn’t release the exact sales numbers for God of War, we know that it’s currently the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 exclusive ever, and that it sold 3.1 million units in its first three days on sale alone. It’s sitting comfortably at the top of the chart of best-selling PS4 games for April, and may likely make another appearance on next month’s chart for May. The God of War Collection also became the best selling PS Vita game of the month, likely boosted by the new God of War‘s popularity.
Sharing the spotlight is Far Cry 5, which held on with strong continued sales as the second-best-selling title of the month. MLB The Show 18 took third place, while another surprise success—A Way Out—found its way into fourth place.
Most of the rest of the list is populated with the usual best-sellers, including the ever-popular Grand Theft Auto V and the PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft. Fortnite continued strong in the top of the free-to-play games category, which admittedly doesn’t have a lot of competition.
