Nintendo announced during its latest Direct broadcast that Golf would be available in Wii Sports Club on Wii U from today.

Like the sports already available, Tennis and Bowling, Golf will feature improved graphics and make use of Motion Plus, allowing for much greater accuracy than in the original Wii version. Wii Sports Club Golf also supports the Wii U GamePad. Players can place the GamePad on the floor and see their ball, allowing them to adjust their shot as they swing.

Wii Sports Club Golf uses the same business model as the other sports, with players able to either purchase the game outright or rent it for 24 hours at a time using the Wii Sports Club pass. A free 24-hour trial of Golf will also be available from today.
