Gran Turismo 5 DLC Coming Every Two Months

THE BUZZ: Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi has announced that Gran Turismo 5 players can expect new DLC for the game every two months from now on.
In a recent interview with IGN he revealed how the team seperates content between DLC and GT6, and also the current content plasn for GT5.
“I think what really will be the separating factor is; something that we can’t update through a DLC is something that obviously has to be saved for GT6. Things that we can provide through DLC we will, so that’s really the market difference,” he said when asked about separating content.
Yamauchi also mentioned that fans can expect new Gran Turismo 5 DLC every two months from now on: ”It’s been about a year since we’ve released the game and in the interim we’ve had about 15 updates that were performed on the game. These set up the basic platform for the system. Now that we have that out of the way, we’re ready to release more expansions and content to add to the game. I think that will include cars and trucks that we’ll be releasing maybe once every two months or so from here on out. What we do from here on is also really dependent on the reaction of the users to this first DLC that we just released because this is the first one. Now we have the feedback from our customers and we’ll see how that will affect what we will do from here.”
EGM’s TAKE: It appears that the fan’s patience has finally paid off and the team is now hard at work on delivering new content.
