THE BUZZ: Kazunori Yamauchi has announced that Gran Turismo 5 will be receiving a Spec 2.0 update this October.

No details were given as to what the update will include, however the Prologue version of the update brought new cars, modes and a host of other features.

“GT fans, thanks for waiting… The GT5 Spec 2.0 update is coming the 3rd week of October, with DLC following a week later,” Yamauchi said in a Tweet.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s been a long time coming but it looks like GT fans finally have something to look forward to.
