Gran Turismo 6 will allow players to boost their in-game credits with real-money purchases, Sony has announced.

A new set of microtransactions will allow players to purchase in-game credits in denominations of 500K, 1 million, 2.5 million, or 7 million credits. Credits can be used to purchase new cars and upgrade parts, and can be earned in-game by winning events.

Sony didn’t offer any pricing for these credit packs. The platform holder also announced that Gran Turismo 6 is now available to pre-order via the European PlayStation Store.

Gran Turismo 6 is set to release December 6 exclusively on PlayStation 3.
