Polyphony Digital has released a new update for Gran Turismo Sport that introduces microtransactions, new cars, and a new track.
As mentioned above, this update adds microtransactions to the game. These will go live on August 2nd and let players purchase cars that cost less than 2 million in-game credits from the PlayStation Store for real money.
There’s also seven new cars for players to take for a spin, including the Mercedes AMG F1 W08, the Mazda 787B ’91, and the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car. Take a look at the full list of new additions below:

- Mazda 787B ’91 (Gr.1)
- Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car (Gr.3)
- Ferrari 250 GTO CN.3729GT ’62 (Gr.X)
- HONDA S660 ’15 (N100)
- Honda Beat ’91 (N100)
- Daihatsu Copen Active Top ’02 (N100)
Finally, the Circuit de Sainte-Croix has been introduced with six layouts. This track is based on the one near Sainte-Croix Lake in Provence, Southern France, and offers three different configurations that can also be run in reverse.
