Rockstar has confirmed that the latest Grand Theft Auto V update reduced repeat mission payments in Grand Theft Auto Online by 50 percent, to keep the game balanced and to encourage players to explore all of the content.

“We understand players do like to enjoy a mission multiple times, so rather than remove the possibility of doing so, we’ve allowed replays of these missions at a reduced payout,” the developer wrote. “Many players can get very good at a mission and beat it much faster in consecutive tries, so we’ve adjusted these payouts to match that case.”

Other changes in the patch include a reduced penalty on death, several bug fixes, and “better-looking” default characters. Rockstar also confirmed that the first stimulus package deposit of 250,000 GTA$ will be made early this week.
