A petition to persuade Rockstar to bring Grand Theft Auto V to the PC has reached over 47,000 signatures.

Grand Theft Auto fan Mike Julliard created the petition to show Rockstar how many people wanted the game to come to PC. The developer has previously stated that a PC version is likely, however focus is currently on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions which are set to release in spring 2013. The petition reads:

To: Rockstar Games,

Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.
