Rockstar has been forced to take Grand Theft Auto Online’s content creator offline, following the discovery of an exploit that allows players to purchase everything in the game for free.

“Access to the GTA Online Creator has been temporarily disabled to stop the spread of a new exploit,” the developer wrote on its support page. “If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information about when the Creator will be available, please log into the Support Site and click Subscribe at the top of this page.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to make the Creator available again as soon as possible.”

A post on the Se7enSins forum explains that the exploit allows players to use the game’s Creator tool to freeze your GTA$, making everything in the game free.
