Warner Bros has announced the official release date of its Lord of the Rings MOBA title Guardians of Middle Earth.

The game will be available digitally on PSN from December 4 priced at $14.99, there’s still no set date for the Xbox 360 version, but it will cost 1200 Microsoft Points. The game will also release at retail on the same day for PlayStation 3, however again no firm release date for the Xbox 360 version was given.

All the game’s post-launch DLC can be bought in one go via the Season Pass. It has already been confirmed that at least some of the DLC will contain characters from the upcoming Hobbit film.
