ArenaNet has updated the Guild Wars 2 beta client with around 10,000 files to prepare for the launch of the game.
Additions include an FPS counter, updated maps, an update to the PvE area Sorror’s Ambrace, and changes to the PvP arenas Raid of the Capricorn and Legacy of the Foefire. The files also contain a new unknown area which could be the Hall of Memories.
The last beta test for the game was held a few weeks ago and it’s unlikely that another one will happen before launch. This update is probably to reduce stress on the servers at launch by allowing players to download some of the final build files early.
