THE BUZZ: For some reason, the folks at Guinness World Records decided to try to figure out the top 50 video game endings of all time. Their results were… hmm.

EGM’s TAKE: So, okay—video game and entertainment publications (such as us here at EGM) do “Top X” lists all of the time. That makes sense, right? But for Guinness World Records to attempt to put together a list of the top 50 video game endings of all time—and to do it by polling 13,519 online fans? I don’t know—something about that just sits the wrong way with me.

The list is part of the new Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer’s Edition book, which features all kinds of figures, facts, and records about anything and everything video game-related.

Still—this list. I just don’t know.
