Microsoft has announced the official retail price for the previously announced Halo 4 special edition Xbox 360 bundle, and you had better be prepared to lose a big chunk of cash.

The console is available to pre-order now for the small price of £269.99, and will arrive in stores alongside the game on November 6. The package includes a custom-designed console, with special lightning and sound effects, two Halo 4 themed controllers, a wired headset, a 320 GB hard drive, tokens for Halo 4 in-game items and avatar gear, and a copy of the game. Not bad for just over £250.

Microsoft also revealed that the special edition controllers that come with the bundle will be available to purchase separately for £39.99 each.

This package has a lot to offer for the price, including the biggest official hard drive available on the market, however if you already have a console then I’d hold off on purchasing this until it falls in price.

Are you willing to spend this much on the bundle? Let us know in the comments below.
