Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Kinect Details

THE BUZZ: 343 Industries revealed how Kinect will work in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary during a panel at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
The game will use Kinect’s voice recognition system to allow players to shout commands such as “reload” and “grenade” which will then translate on screen into those actions. Another command is “analyse” which will scan the battlefield for objects, enemies and weapons. The scanned objects will then appear as little 3D models with details about them, these will then be stored in the library so you can look at them any time. You can check out a video of the panel below.
EGM’s TAKE: Voice recognition is cool, and it’s good that Kinect is being intergrated into more “hardcore” titles, however when a button press is just as good why would people use it?
Will you use the Kinect features? Leave a comment below.
