Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 game Halo: Spartan Assault is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 this December.

On console the top down shooter features a new online co-op mode with more weapons, enemies, missions, abilities, upgrades, and achievements, according to Microsoft. The single-player aspect of the game features 30 missions as well as the Operation Hydra expansion.

Spartan Assault is developed by Vanguard Games and follows the story of Commander Sarah Palmer.
