The launch trailer for Halo Wars 2 has the odds stacked against us, but the war it depicts definitely looks worth the fight.
Dropping into the boots of Commander Cutter, players will face off against the tyrannical Covenant traitor, Atriox. With limited resources and overwhelming opposition, the player’s cunning decision making will have to take precedent over brute force in order to take down this new threat.
In addition to the extensive story campaign and tactical multiplayer, Halo Wars 2 introduces the new Blitz mode. This new mode can be enjoyed in single-player against AI or tackled in teams of 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 competitive multiplayer, with the experience varying depending on the adversary.
Halo Wars 2 is launching February 21st on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, supporting the Xbox Play Anywhere program without cross-play.
