Harmonix Set to Reveal New Game at PAX East

THE BUZZ: Harmonix, developer of Rock Band, will be showing off a new title at PAX East next week.

A description of a panel (Spotted by Destructoid) set to take place at the event, between the 6-8 April, reads:

“The panel will include gameplay examples from internal prototypes, honest discussion of our design process successes and failures, insight into how we create and test our games in development, and a synopsis of the design history of a title on public display for the very first time at the Harmonix booth.”

Obviously, as you can see, there are no further details about the game on offer.

EGM’s TAKE: Considering that Harmonix is pretty much king of the rhythm genre, based on the success of both Dance Central and Rock Band, it’s safe to have a guess at this new title being along those lines. It has previously been mentioned that the firm is working on a game for Facebook, PSN and XBLA, could this be the title mentioned? We eagerly await what Harmonix will reveal next week.
