Harmonix Will Return to Rock Band ‘At the Right Point in Time’

Posted on June 4, 2013 AT 01:30pm

Talking to GamesBeat, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos mentioned that his company isn’t leaving Rock Band behind.

“We don’t view Rock Band as something that’s being left behind,” Rigopulos told GamesBeat. “It’s something we’ll return to at the right point in time and reimagine it as appropriate for its time.”

Harmonix today revealed their last music & rhythm project, Fantasia: Music Evolved, a Kinect titled developed in collaboration with Disney Interactive. EGM’s Josh Harmon and Eric L. Patterson both spent some time hands-on with Music Evolved. YOu can check out their disparate impressions in their DoubleTake.
