In celebration of Rain’s arrival on PSN tomorrow for PS3, Sony has released a new trailer of the upcoming atmospheric adventure game.
Rain revolves around a young boy who becomes invisible after seeing the silhouette of a similarly unseeable young girl. Gameplay involves players relying on rain to see the outline of the nameless young boy, guiding him and aiding him through puzzle-solving situations.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, SCEA associate producer Dais Kawaguchi points out that today is the last day to pre-order Rain. Pre-orders come with five hand-drawn avatars, a musical montage, a static theme, and a dynamic theme. In addition, Kawaguchi announced that Sony would be playing through the game live on the PlayStation Blog and on Twitch at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET).
Rain launches on the PlayStation Network for PS3 tomorrow, October 1, priced at $14.99. The full soundtrack will also be available for $9.99, featuring a theme song by Claude Debussy from Suite bergamasque, music by Yugo Kanno, and the vocal stylings of Connie Talbot.
