The closed beta wipe for Hearthstone has now occurred in North America and is currently ongoing in Europe (at the time of writing).
The wipe means that all Hearthstone beta players have now been reverted back to new players with their cards, gold, and Arcane Dust reset. The only gold players will have upon logging in is a refund for any real-money they spent during the beta. The maintenance has now been completed in North America, but according to Blizzard there are issues in Europe which have prolonged the downtime.
This wipe also signals the release of a massive patch for the game which makes several changes to cards and prizes. Some of the main changes are an increase in the gold output for wins in Play mode, now players will receive 10 gold for every three wins, and an increase to the guaranteed prize at 5 and 6 Arena wins.
