Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas launching on Windows, Mac, and iPad July 22

Posted on July 17, 2014 AT 10:30am

The first part of Hearthstone’s single-player Curse of Naxxramas expansion will arrive next week, July 22, Blizzard announced today.

The adventure mode, made up of five “wings” set in different locations, will pit players against AI-controlled boss characters as opposed to the main game’s usual PvP arrangement. The first wing, the “Arachnid Quarter,” will be free-to-play for a month following its July 22 launch, and playing it during the launch event will unlock the wing permanently for free. Following that, “Arachnid Quarter” will be $6.99—as will each other wing, which Blizzard will release on a weekly basis following the first.

Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas will be available for Windows PC, Mac OS X, and iPad.
