Sega x Sanrio’s Hello Kitty Sonic Doll Can’t Be This Cute
Posted on July 10, 2012 AT 02:52pm
Good Golly—Sonic’s quite the popular hedgehog these days. As if it wasn’t enough that the Blue Blur’s taking part in a massive comic book crossover with Archie Comics’ Mega Man series, now Hello Kitty is having a cross-promotional makeover of her own.
As posted by Andriasang, Sega and Sanrio are joining forced to produce a collection of Hello Kitty dolls this month to celebrate the reopening of the Sega Joyopolis in Tokyo, with the first-announced character collaboration being this “Sonic x Hello Kitty Super Jumbo Plushy” toy.
It’s—it’s just so cute.
And Sonic the Hedgehog definitely won’t be the only character to get the Hello Kitty treatment, as Sanrio will apparently be making mash-up dolls of several other popular Sega video game characters, with all of them available worldwide next year. Hopefully, they skip Seaman and go straight to Ulala.
