Stat-tracking group NPD today released their list of the top 10 best-selling videogames at retail outlets for July 2012. Was your favorite game in the top 10?

Am I surprised at all that NCAA Football 13 came in at #1? Yes. Er, wait—when I just said yes, I actually meant no. No I’m not. Also, isn’t it a little strange that Black Ops comes in over Modern Warfare 3? Could it just be people wanting to go back and get caught up before Black Ops II hits?

  1. NCAA Football 13 (Xbox 360, PS3)
  2. Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Wii, Xbox 360, NDS, PS3, 3DS, PS Vita, PC)
  3. The Amazing Spider-Man (Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, NDS, Wii)
  4. Just Dance 3 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii)
  5. Batman: Arkham City – Game of the Year Edition (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
  6. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, NDS, PC)
  7. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
  8. NBA 2K12 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PS2, PC)
  9. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC)
  10. Dead Island – Game of the Year Edition (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
