Even if Santa brings you nothing but a lump of coal in your stocking this year, at least Sony will be there, arms full of free PlayStation games!

…well, at least for all of the good little boys and girls who subscribe to PlayStation Plus. Everyone else will have to take their coal and like it.

Sony already pre-announced the free PlayStation 4 games for December, so those come as shock to any of us: the new-gen version of NetherRealm Studios? Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition, and the new Wild West-inspired stylistic competitive multiplayer game Secret Ponchos.

Over on the PlayStation 3, I?d say the pickings aren?t too shabby. First is Hitman Trilogy HD, a compilation of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money. So, really, you?re already getting three games before we get to the second PS3 title!

And that game, putting a smile on my face, is Deadly Premonition: The Director?s Cut. Maybe you?ve heard of this cult classic by Japanese creator Swery. Maybe the name has never passed by your ears. Either way, you?ll now have the chance to check it out for zero dollars?so if it just isn?t your thing, then you?ll be out nothing but your time.

Finally we?ve got the PS Vita, which will be receiving Final Horizon?a tower defense game of sorts that I?ve never had the chance to check out?and Titan Attacks!?a ?modern remix of classic arcade shoot ?em ups? that I?ve also not tried.
