Middle-earth

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor update will allow players to transfer their favorite adversary to the upcoming sequel, thanks to the new Nemesis Forge feature.

Nemesis Forge comes in a free update, available for all current-gen platforms, that detects a player’s highest-ranking nemesis in Shadow of Mordor and prepares them to be ported over to Shadow of War at launch. The update will also move over players’ most loyal orc follower, so they can continue to serve us in the new adventure.

For anyone that didn’t get to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor the first time around, the game is currently free to play on Xbox One and PC until July 9th, offering a small window to start building your ranks in Shadow of War. The game can also be found on sale for up to 80 percent off across the various platforms, but these deals end soon.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is slated to launch October 10th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out everything EGMNOW knows about the game in our Middle-earth: Shadow of War guide.
