The limited edition PlayStation 4 Anniversary Edition console goes on sale online in the U.K. later today, but getting your hands on one is not going to be easy.
To start off, you will have to follow either @PlayStationUK or @GAMEDigital on Twitter to be in with a chance of getting one. After you’ve done this, head on over to the PlayStation U.K.’s special 20 years of PlayStation characters website and study the positions of the 300 character that are there.
Then at set times this week, both the PlayStation U.K. and GAME Twitter accounts will tweet a clue that relates to one of the 300 characters on the page mentioned above. Once you work out which character it is, you’ll need to click on the corresponding image on the website to be taken to a “secret website” where you can fill out a form. If you are one of the first 100 people to do so then you will receive and email from GAME within 24 hours with a link for you to buy your console.
Clues will be tweeted out at the following times (GMT):
- Monday 4 p.m.
- Tuesday 5 p.m.
- Wednesday 2 p.m.
- Thursday 8 a.m.
- Friday 12 p.m.
A few things to note: The console costs £399.99, GAME will not ship outside the U.K., you have to be over 18, and it’s one console per person.
There is one other way to get hold of a console, but you’re going to need even more luck. Each day, one person who filled in a form, but failed to get into the first 100, will be drawn at random to win a console.
