It seems like forever ago that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were announced as new fighters in Injustice 2, and while we have still yet to see gameplay of the squad, a new screenshot recently goaded our heads out of our shells.

The screenshot was posted to creative director Ed Boon’s Twitter account, accompanied by the simple caption “teamwork.” The teamwork he is referring to can be spotted in the screenshot itself, which depicts a turtle calling in one of his brethren for a tag-team skateboard slam on the head of a seemingly awestruck Black Manta.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—who will play as one single character—are launching as the final part of Injustice 2‘s Fighter Pack 3 expansion, which also included Atom and Enchantress. Atom launched back in a December, and Enchantress showed up in the game just last month, which leaves only the turtles to patiently await their turn to start kicking butt. If the expansion’s release pattern remains consistent, we should expect to see them drop this month.

At the moment, it’s unclear whether Injustice 2 will receive any future DLC characters released following the Turtles. Only 9 DLC fighters were promised before launch, and once Fighter Pack 3 is fully released, that quota will be filled. Still, there’s nothing stopping NetherRealm from releasing a new season of characters, especially given the game’s strong sales and continued popularity. And late last month, Ed Boon did jokingly tweet about a leak of the next DLC character, sharing a fan-made screenshot of Scooby Doo in the game. That’s obviously not real, but the fact that Boon implied there could theoretically be a “next” character may be telling, given his sense of humor and history of teasing future announcements on Twitter.

Injustice 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
