A sound plays. A graphic pops up. You’ve done it—you’ve earned that achievement. But what will that experience be like on Microsoft’s next-gen console?

Today, thanks to the folks over at Gearnuke, we’ve got a better idea of the answer to that question, as they managed to snag footage of an Xbox One Achievement pop-up during a match in Killer Instinct. Below are animated gifs of the Xbox 360’s style of pop ups, and then how they’ll look on the Xbox One.

And—in can you want to compare them—here’s our story from earlier in the week showing off how Trophy notifications will work on the PlayStation 4.

Personally, I feel like the new pop-ups might actually be more distracting than the older style. There’s more movement and things going on to take your eyes away from the action of the game. But what do you think? Improvement, or downgrade? Let us know in the comments below.
