A new roadmap for Star Wars Battlefront II goes over the new content that players can expect throughout the rest of 2018.
Kicking things off this month will be the introduction of Hero Starfighters, a new four vs. four PvP mode that will pit players against each other in hero ship battles. As well as this, players can look forward to a number of game improvements, including the option to manually turn on and off lightsabers, lightsaber blocking draining stamina, the ability to switch appearances before the match starts, and several quality of life improvements for Hero Showdown.
Following in August will be new appearance options for Clone Troopers and the ability to unlock new emotes and victory poses using credits or crystals.
Next up in fall will be the first half of the previously announced Clone Wars season, with the introduction of Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievious as playable characters. Alongside these new characters, players are getting a new large-scale mode, new Clone Trooper and hero appearances, and improvements to the squad system.
Finally, winter will see the second half of the Clone Wars season arrive, with Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku as new playable characters, a new map set on Geonosis, and even more new Clone Trooper and hero appearances.
From new game modes to fresh hero appearances, get up to speed on what the future holds for Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II. More details on July’s update coming next week. pic.twitter.com/PM3uLbEZIm
