Pokemon Go

Niantic has revealed when Pokémon Go players will be able to capture the legendary Pokémon Zapdos and Moltres.

From now until July 31st, players can capture Articuno. Then, from July 31st until August 7th, Moltres will be the legendary Pokémon up for grabs. Finally, the last of the three legendary birds, Zapdos, will be available to catch from August 7th to August 14th.

For those who missed it, over the weekend Pokémon Go players managed to unlock Lugia and Articuno by completing challenges during Pokémon Go Fest in Chicago. Lugia will appear in raid battles from now on, but the three legendary birds will only be available for a limited time.

Speaking of Pokémon Go Fest, Niantic was forced to offer refunds to all attendees after the event was plagued with connection issues. Attendees were unable to log into the game for most of the event, and those who did suffered from terrible lag that made the game basically unplayable. As well as having their ticket price refunded, attendees will also receive $100 worth of Poké Coins.

Pokémon Go is available now as a free download on iOS and Android.
