Injustice

Injustice 2 will finally give us an in-depth look at how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will play during an upcoming Watchtower stream.

The stream will happen on Wednesday, February 7th, at 1 p.m. PT on NetherRealm’s Twitch channel, according to a recent announcement.

The announcement hinted that a gameplay trailer for the Turtles might debut prior to the stream, but no date or time was mentioned, so it’s possible the Watchtower stream will open with the trailer.

The hype train for the Turtles’ gameplay debut has been going full steam as of late, starting with an official screenshot showing Raphael and Michelangelo teaming up against Black Manta and followed by a leak claiming to showcase all of the Turtles’ dialogue lines, as well as a screenshot containing a sly reference to NetherRealm’s other franchise.

The release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will round out Injustice 2‘s Fighter Pack 3, the last planned DLC for the DC fighting game. While there have been hints that more DLC fighters are in the works, NetherRealm hasn’t announced any future DLC. Besides, if Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are the last characters added to Injustice 2, we’d consider that a successful finale.

Injustice 2 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
