PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

The first gameplay footage of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds new desert map will be shown during The Game Awards on December 7th, organizer Geoff Keighley has announced.

So far, we’ve seen glimpses of the map via screenshots released by creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene and developer Bluehole Studio, but no actual gameplay.

The map will be included in version 1.0 of PUBG on PC, but players will get a chance to try the map before the update’s release via the game’s test server. Sadly, an exact date for the map landing on the test server has not been offered.

Bluehole Studio is currently testing the new vaulting and climbing features that will be included in PUBG‘s 1.0 update. PC players who are interested in trying out these new features can download the test server.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC via Steam Early Access, and will be coming to Xbox One on December 12th.
