Our countdown to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gameplay reveal has begun, following the release of the event’s exact start time.
Activision has sent out invitations to outlets for the gameplay reveal, and from these invitations we have learned exactly when the event is happening. We already knew the event was going down on May 17th, but now we know that the keynote presentation will begin at 10 a.m. PT.
We still don’t know exactly what will be shown off at the gameplay reveal. One could assume it will likely be multiplayer, not only because it is the series’ most popular mode, but also because reports have suggested the game won’t even feature a single-player campaign at launch. However, one pro player recently dismissed this information as false. These rumors, along with all the others currently swirling around the game, will no doubt get cleared up during the reveal.
To counter a little of the uncertainty surrounding the game, Treyarch recently teased a number of the multiplayer’s perks. Descriptions of the perks weren’t offered in the tease, but we made some guesses based on the images provided. The return of scorestreaks and Wildcards were also part of the same tease.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is slated to launch October 12th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
