Here’s Where You Can Watch Sony’s Gamescom 2012 Press Conference
Posted on August 8, 2012 AT 04:09pm
Sony will have plenty of upcoming titles on deck to talk about at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany next week, but everyone who can’t travel cross-continent to see it can thankfully catch up with a livestream of their press conference. Sony will be starting their stage show at 7 p.m. CET (1 p.m. ET) on Tuesday, August 14th, with follow up events right afterward.
Anyone online can catch the footage at http://gamescom.eu.playstation.com/, which is currently running a countdown clock to their opening salvo.
After the main press conference, a panel talking about the “games as art” debate will kick off, featuring the follow speakers, who will address key points and counterpoints:
- Shuhei Yoshida (President, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios)
- Alex Evans (Co-founder, Media Molecule)
- Kellee Santiago (Former Staff, thatgamecompany)
- Ian Dallas (Co-founder of The Unfinished Swan, from Giant Sparrow)
During the panel, fans can tweet questions to them by using the #PSGC hashtag, and it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to include #Gamescom and each speaker’s personal Twitter handle, either.
