Capcom has released the first trailer for Resident Evil‘s upcoming re-re-release on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

The game is a HD upgrade of the GameCube re-release that launched back in 2002, and will run at 1080p on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players have the option of either playing in the original 4:3 ratio or a new updated 16:9 widescreen mode.

Two control schemes are also available: One that emulates the classic control scheme, and a second, more modern, style, where the character will directly move in the direction of the analogue stick.

Resident Evil will be available in early 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

Earlier today, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 was in development for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, and is scheduled to also release in early 2015.
