Hideki Kamiya Wants You To Stop Asking About Devil May Cry Reboot
Posted on October 2, 2012 AT 04:25pm
Hey, you guys, let’s leave Hideki Kamiya alone for a bit, OK? He doesn’t want to answer questions about the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry reboot, and we’re apparently starting to really piss him off.
Although Kamiya has a lot of ties with Capcom, having provided groundbreaking work on franchises like Resident Evil, Okami, and Viewtiful Joe.
However, he doesn’t have anything to do with the Ninja Theory reboot of Devil May Cry, and he’s taking to re-posting the following message on Twitter to anyone harassing him about it:
IF U CAN’T READ THESE, GET THE FUCK OFF. twitter.com/PG_kamiya/stat… twitter.com/PG_kamiya/stat… twitter.com/PG_kamiya/stat…
— 神谷英樹 Hideki Kamiya (@PG_kamiya) August 27, 2012
Kamiya, who’s currently working on Bayonetta 2 as a supervisor, is considered one of the gaming industry’s most outspoken developers. It’s pretty obvious to see why.
Notably, DmC: Devil May Cry has been under a huge amount of scrutiny, with fans generally lambasting Capcom over the updated character designs and altered timeline of the series. Although most of the game was finished this summer, DmC has been delayed to January 2013 for more tweaks and fine-tuning.
