Hitman

IO Interactive announced on Twitter that Hitman 2 has officially gone gold.

For those who are unaware, a game going gold means that development is complete and the code is ready to send to manufacturing for release.

Earlier this week, the developer released a new trailer for the upcoming sequel that offered a closer look at Santa Fortuna, one of the levels in the game that is set deep in the heart of the Colombian rainforest. According to IO, the level features “lush vegetation, unexpected hazards and unique kill opportunities for players to contend with.”

In other news, IO Interactive recently announced the Hitman Legacy Pack for the upcoming sequel, which brings back all six locations from season one. Each of the locations now include new features from Hitman 2, such as a brand new progression system, picture-in-picture mode, new gameplay items, new difficulty levels, and more.

Hitman 2 launches November 13th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
