Hitman

A second season of the episodic Hitman is officially in the works.

The promised content for Hitman officially wrapped up on Halloween, with the release of Hokkaido, Japan–set Episode 6. It seems that this isn’t the end of the game, however, since IO Interactive producer Hakan Abrak has just revealed a few hints about future episodes in an interview with French outlet GamerGen.

According to Abrak, season two will feature a ton of new locations. While season one worked on building up the World of Assassination, the second season will expand it with new locations and new cities. Older ones won’t be forgotten, however—players could still return to Paris as events continue to unfold due to Agent 47’s actions.

Other events that have become staples of the first season will return, such as the Elusive Targets. The development team loves the success of the Elusive Targets, special assassination marks that appear for a limited amount of real-life time and that must be taken out in one perfect run.

So far, there’s no word on when Hitman‘s second season will launch.
