Hotline Miami Coming to PS3, Vita in Spring

Dennaton Games’s cult hit, Hotline Miami, is coming to PS3 and PS Vita this spring.

Hotline Miami is a 2D top-down indie game originally released for PC. Heavily inspired by the kickass neo-noir film, Drive, Hotline Miami very smartly examines and critiques violence in videogames—without compromising its fun factor. It also has a spectacular 80s-inspired soundtrack.

Dutch developer Abstraction Games will be handling the ports. The PS3/Vita release will feature Cross Buy support.

Here’s the PS3/Vita announcement trailer, complete with funky 80s beats:

Chris Holzworth, Editorial Intern
Chris Holzworth has wanted to report on and critique games all his life. He first cut his teeth writing for enthusiast sites such as RPGFan, then took a break from gaming to study English, creative writing, and linguistics at Rutgers University. Started out as EGM's obligatory east coast correspondent before selling out and moving to the west coast. Chris is particularly keen on examining narrative structure, character development, and writing in video games. Frequently opens mouth, inserts foot, often where twittery things happen: @chrisholzworth. Meet the rest of the crew.
